What "liner" do you recommend for this leo, particularly the white version of this unitard?
I am planning on costuming CATS and am looking for a sturdy opaque unitard for Victoria (white cat). I am not opposed to a sturdy shiny knit. Thank you for the advice of acid-based dyes for this fabric. Looks as though this unitard has been good for CATS. Thanks for any feedback on liners.
This unitard in white has shelf lining. I am purchasing a suntan colored unitard for my daughter, who is playing Pinnochio in Shrek. My thought is to paint woodgrain on the unitard arms and legs to make her look like a wooden toy. Any suggestions on what type of paint to use? Or would fabric markers be a better way to go? Any thoughts would be appreciated!!!
I would not suggest painting on this unitard. Normally, we suggest dying a cotton leotard (this is a nylon blend) but I cannot be certain that you would achieve the visual you are looking for. - DDS Customer Service (02/24/2014)

Is this a matte finish? And would you be able to attach stirrups?

It has a slight sheen but is definitely not "sparkly." You can attach your own stirrups, but the legs are footless so there is a turned over seam at the bottom. I'm short enough 5'3'' (with a long torso so I wear a L) that I can tuck the bottom of the leg into my jazz shoes. - Luna (08/30/2013)
